Under the Disabled Discrimination Act 2005, it is unlawful to discriminate against any person in regards to their employment and this includes evacuation of your premises in the event of a fire. Legislation has changed, and now, leaving the disabled, injured or incapacitated behind in a stairwell or refuge whilst other colleagues are leaving is not only harmful, it is a breach of the regulations.

This is why products such as ours are now imperative to any organisation that has personnel or visitors on the premises. This is also why we offer a full training service to ensure that key members of your staff are fully trained to use the equipment we install and are fully prepared in the event of a fire.

Upon completion of training the delegate will:

A training session is for 4-6 people and lasts approximately 1-2 hours. The purpose is to provide training on the safe use of evacuation chairs. Our primary aim is to give confidence to the user. A certificate is issued to those deemed competent. The cost is £250 - £450 + VAT, depending on the product type.
